Our Mission

At our office, we ensure that patients receive the most advanced orthodontic care. Our goal is to satisfy the concerns and desires of our patient while obtaining the most technically correct orthodontic result possible within any limitations that may exist. We strive to do all of this with a level of such personal care and attention that the patient would feel like they are the only patient in our practice. A very common comment that we hear about our office is that we are “the friendliest most caring staff that we have ever experienced.” Truly, our care is all about you and we stress personal care and attention.

Appointment Policies

We want to be as accommodating as we can be, but it is necessary to have certain policies regarding appointments. It is extremely important that you realize your child must be appointed during school hours on several occasions. This is not unique to our office and every busy orthodontic office is faced with the same situation. The receptionist is in control of the appointment book and we ask for your cooperation and patience in working with her in making the appointments.

Your scheduled appointment time will be reserved specifically for you. We request a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and appreciate your cooperation.

We encourage parents of younger patients to come into the treatment area for the child’s first couple of appointments. Thereafter, we ask parents or others that accompany the patient to remain in the reception area while the patients are being treated unless you feel that it is absolutely necessary to accompany the child. Space limitations as well as OSHA requirements limit the number of people that can be in the treatment area. Responsible parties will be given progress reports at appropriate intervals or whenever they are requested because we know parents will want to know how their child is doing. The doctor may meet the parents at the front desk area or in the private office for these updates. We naturally encourage the responsible parties to ask any questions that they may have at any time and it will be our pleasure to answer them to the best of our abilities. The doctor will certainly bring up any problems or concerns that arise as necessary.

Dental Visits

Parents and patients are advised to continue with regular check-ups with their general dentist! We cannot emphasize this enough. The patients should be seen by their general dentist every six months or more frequently if advised by the orthodontist. Patients and/or parents must assume responsibility for this.

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
